We just spent 8 days and 44 hours (!) in the car. We had a lovely time reconnecting w/ friends & relatives and I'm so thankful that we had the opportunity & flexibility to take this trip. Here are some of my "Road Trip Survival" items.
ESSENTIAL OILS: Sweet Orange, Peppermint & Lavender are my favs, and the battery operated DIFFUSER (from SpaRoom) helped us keep alert while driving, refresh stale hotel rooms, and when we passed "interesting" smelling areas ~ like lots of cows & chickens. ;-)
SNACKS & WATER: Raw almond butter to add protein to the usually carb heavy free breakfasts (I like to add it to my waffles w/ a banana or to oatmeal), organic beef jerky, nuts, protein bars, and lots of water.
PERSONAL CARE: Of course I like to travel with my PUREhaven Essentials non-toxic items ❤️. I love our Hands-on-the-Go for quick hand cleaning, and I put our Hand Soap in a small foaming bottle since I can’t stand using the drying (smelly fragrance & toxic) hotel soap.
MUSIC: what road trip would be complete without some rousing renditions of some favorites? We’re pretty eclectic in our taste from Musicals (nothing like Phantom of the Opera when driving at night!), 80’s rock (don’t judge!), Oldies, Classical, Praise & Worship, and Movie Soundtracks.
What are your Road Trip Travel MUST haves?
